The Two Rivers of Life

Day 5 The Two Rivers of Life

The Voice Within

Recently, I finished reading “The Art of Being Alone”, and it truly shifted something within me.

It taught me the power of taking a pause, practicing self-reflection, and listening to my inner voice - because no one understands our life better than we do.

The author, Renuka, asks a beautiful question:

👉 “What is the one thing you don’t like about your current life - something you merely tolerate?”

After deep self-reflection, my answer was self-doubt.

Self-doubt has been the real demon I’m learning to face.

Often when my inner voice says, “Janvi, let’s do this,” I find myself sharing that idea with friends or family. And since we all come from different realities, my vision never looks as clear or possible to them as it does to me.

Now, I’m not saying we should ignore others or only listen to ourselves -

No.

The journey isn’t about choosing one over the other, but about knowing when to listen, when to hear, and when to follow each.

Maybe the right approach is to seek insights from mentors about their experiences -  what they learned from their mistakes -  instead of expecting tailored solutions for our own lives.

And perhaps, the best next step is to simply take one .... even if we’re clueless.

Because if we keep waiting for the perfect moment, perfect knowledge, or perfect clarity… nothing will ever happen.

After all, mistakes often teach us more than perfect succ

ess ever could. 🌿
