The Art of Doing Nothing

Day 4 - The Art of Doing Nothing

Nothing

What I conclude from taking pause is the art of doing nothing.

Yeah, it’s cliché that most amazing ideas are generated when we are not doing anything or not putting pressure on our mind to get something out of it.

You know what I experienced...in our life, what we perceive through our senses and how we want to respond to that situation might not be correct. And since there is no real truth, there is also no way to define whose perception is right...mine or others’. Both can be correct or incorrect based on their different realities.

So, it’s better to take a pause. And I am not exhorting inactivity, but why do we need to prove that we are correct? And will that ever even be possible?

“Decide what’s worth your energy, because what you engage with grows.”

Instead of thinking about others...how they behave with me or what I expect from them...why don’t I embrace my solitude and make the most of my present?

My path cannot be the same as others; I have to walk alone.

So why don’t I fulfill all the fantasies I envisioned with my family and friends...with me only, as if I am the only one in my family?

Why don’t I celebrate this Diwali

I with myself?
