Embracing the Randomness of Life
Day 1 Embracing The Randomness
Uncertainty
Today, I realised something profound...not everything needs to go according to plan.
I love listening to TEDx Talks, and recently, I heard two that felt like signs from the universe ...“It’s Okay to Have No Plans” and “The Signs of the Universe.” They came to me right after I got The Pivot Year, and together, they changed how I see life.
For 20 years, I’ve often doubted my planning skills. Every time I carefully planned something, it somehow didn’t go as expected and it used to really hurt. I would get so lost in the failure of those plans that I couldn’t see the beautiful things that happened because they didn’t work out.
We put so much effort into making plans that when they don’t go right, we convince ourselves to stick to the wrong path simply because we’ve already invested so much. But lately, especially in the past five months, life has shown me that even when plans fall apart, unplanned moments can turn into blessings in disguise.
I’ve met wonderful people, built beautiful connections, and learned to see reality through new eyes.
Today again, I met people with completely different perspectives on life... and it reminded me to embrace the randomness.
Not everything needs to be controlled. Maybe fate isn’t meant to be changed but lived...moment by moment.
Right now, I am exactly where I’m supposed to be.
And maybe that’s enough. 🌿
